Dr Neela Biswas

Dr Neela Biswas is an Australian trained dermatologist, specialising in medical and pediatric dermatology. She is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists and has extensive experience in the field. Dr Biswas obtained her medical degree from James Cook University in Queensland. After completing her degree, she worked as a General Practitioner in Brisbane before transitioning to dermatology. She underwent specialist dermatology training at renowned institutions such as the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, Princess Alexandra Hospital, Queensland Institute of Dermatology, and the Queensland Children’s Hospital. With a particular interest in psoriasis, Dr Biswas is well-versed in various aspects of dermatology. Her areas of expertise include skin cancer surveillance, acne, eczema, hyperhidrosis, hair and nail disorders, inflammatory and auto-immune connective tissue diseases, pediatric dermatology, and female genital dermatology. Throughout her medical career, Dr Biswas has actively engaged in research and scholarly activities. She is passionate about teaching and frequently mentors dermatology registrars and medical students.
