Dr Scott Burgess

Dr Scott Burgess is a paediatrician specialising in paediatric respiratory and sleep medicine. He is based in Woolloongabba, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Dr Burgess obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Queensland in 1996. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and holds a PhD from the University of Western Australia. With a special interest in problems affecting the lungs, breathing, and sleep in children from birth to adulthood, Dr Burgess is dedicated to the management of children with asthma, coughing, chest infections, snoring, obstructive sleep apnoea, and difficulty sleeping. He also has a post-graduate certificate in Paediatric Sleep Medicine from the University of Western Australia. As a paediatric sleep physician, Dr Burgess offers private sleep studies for children aged two years and older at the Wesley Hospital.
