A/Prof Ian Yusoff

Dr. Ian Yusoff is an experienced and highly skilled gastroenterologist specialising in pancreaticobiliary diseases. His main focus is on delivering exceptional care to patients suffering from pancreatitis, pancreatic cystic disease, and pancreaticobiliary malignancies.

Dr. Yusoff completed his training in Perth and then went on to pursue fellowship training in interventional endoscopy and endoscopic ultrasound at McGill University and the University of Montreal, respectively. During his time at McGill University, he also engaged in epidemiology studies.

Currently, Dr. Yusoff holds the position of Associate Professor of Medicine at The University of Western Australia and serves as a consultant gastroenterologist at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. He is highly regarded in the medical community for his expertise in endoscopic ultrasound and pancreaticobiliary endoscopy.

Dr. Yusoff is actively involved in establishing a new endoscopic ultrasound service at Hollywood Private Hospital. He works closely with a team of dedicated professionals to ensure that patients receive the best care possible, adhering to the latest evidence-based practices.

Apart from his clinical practice, Dr. Yusoff is actively engaged in clinical research, particularly in the field of technology assessment and endoscopy outcomes. He is a member of several prestigious national advisory committees, including the Cancer Council of Australia and the Royal Australasian College of Pathologists.

Dr. Yusoff practices at the Advanced GI WA - Hollywood Specialist Centre. Patients can rely on his expertise and compassionate care in managing a wide range of gastroenterological conditions.
