Dr Brian Lee

Dr Brian Lee is a highly qualified Specialist Pain Medicine Physician and Anaesthetist who offers personalised pain management services to patients with private health insurance, DVA, WorkCover and MVIT. Dr Lee has a dual specialisation in pain medicine and anaesthesia, with a special interest in interventional and procedural pain medicine. He is committed to providing evidence-based, compassionate and patient-centred care.

Dr Lee’s pain management approach includes judicious interventional pain management, optimisation of medications, engagement with personal allied health teams, and referral and collaboration with medical specialists. He supports primary care specialists in managing complex pain cases and is always available to discuss cases via email or phone. Dr Lee has a deep understanding of the physical and emotional impact of chronic pain on individuals, which enables him to connect with his patients and offer them the best possible care.

Dr Lee completed his medical degree at Monash University, Melbourne, and underwent anaesthetic training in Auckland, New Zealand. He received training in pain medicine in WA, focusing on interventional procedures. Dr Lee has achieved academic excellence within his field and received a Merit award for his Pain Medicine Fellowship Examination. He has also obtained further training in spinal interventional procedures in Melbourne.

Dr Lee is associated with Hollywood Private Hospital, among other prestigious hospitals, and holds public appointments as a Specialist Pain Physician and Anaesthetist at Royal Perth Hospital. Dr Lee is also a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Western Australia, where he regularly lectures medical students on pain management.
