Dr Dimple D'Silva

Dr Dimple D'Silva is a highly skilled and dedicated Paediatrician based in Frankston, Melbourne. With a specialisation in paediatrics, she has gained an extensive amount of experience both in Australia and overseas in the fields of general paediatrics and neonatology. Dr D'Silva obtained her MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) with Honours in 1994. She furthered her education and completed her Diploma in Child Health (DCH) as well as her Diplomate of the National Board in Paediatrics (DNB). In 2012, Dr D'Silva obtained her Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). Dr D'Silva's passion lies in caring for newborns and infants, with a special interest in neonatal issues such as unsettled babies, failure to thrive, skin rashes, and general health concerns in infants. Additionally, she has expertise in addressing general paediatric issues that include asthma, eczema, constipation, bedwetting, and abdominal pains. Additionally, Dr D'Silva has published her research work on "Melting muscles: novel H1N1 influenza A associated rhabdomyolysis" in the Pediatric Infectious Disease Journal.
