Dr Debra Furniss

Dr Debra Furniss is an esteemed radiation oncologist serving as the Regional Medical Director for GenesisCare Sunshine Coast. With a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Queensland, Dr Furniss has been providing exceptional consulting services to patients at Caboolture Private Hospital and Noosa Hospital. Patients attend GenesisCare Buderim and Nambour centers for successful treatment.

Her vast experience in the field includes radiotherapy for the treatment of gastrointestinal, breast, and lung-related lesions, stereotactic radiotherapy and radiosurgery, skin cancer, hematological malignancies, and palliative treatments. Dr Furniss is also involved in the use of radiotherapy to treat benign diseases such as Dupuytren’s contracture.

Apart from serving patients, Dr Furniss actively participates in the International Dupuytren Society, Australian Gastrointestinal Trials Group (AGITG), and the International lymphoma radiation oncology group (ILROG).
