Mr De Juan Ng

Meet Mr De Juan Ng, an accomplished Australian Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in hip and knee surgeries. After completing his early education at Haileybury College, De Juan pursued Medicine at Monash University, where he obtained his Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree. Since then, he has been practicing as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Melbourne since 1999.

With a particular interest in hip, knee, and trauma surgeries, De Juan has undergone advanced Orthopaedic training, including a Fellowship in Toronto. During this time, he gained extensive experience in primary and revision hip and knee replacements, knee ligament reconstructions, as well as lower limb osteotomies. His dedication to patient care is evident in his commitment to staying updated with the latest advancements in Orthopaedics and utilizing evidence-based practices for optimal patient outcomes.

Not only is De Juan dedicated to his patients, but he also plays an active role in teaching and mentoring future Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is involved in the Orthopaedic Outreach program, where he imparts his knowledge and expertise to Orthopaedic Surgeons in Vietnam. Additionally, De Juan teaches Orthopaedic Registrars and has previously taught undergraduate anatomy and case-based learning at Monash University. He is also a valued member of the interview panel for Monash University’s Faculty of Medicine, Nursing, and Health Sciences.
