Dr Anil Koshy

Dr. Anil Koshy is a highly experienced Colorectal and General Surgeon with a passion for providing the latest safe and minimally-invasive surgical techniques. With a Master's in Surgery from Sydney University, Dr. Koshy is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) and a member of several professional organisations, including the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New-Zealand (CSSANZ), the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons (ASCRS), and the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA). Dr. Koshy has undergone extensive training in the management of colon and rectal cancer surgery, complex locally advanced colon and rectal cancers, including exenteration and pelvic cancer surgery.

Dr. Koshy has worked at some of the world's most renowned Tertiary referral bowel cancer centers, the Royal Prince Alfred (RPA) Hospital in Sydney and the John Golligher Colorectal unit in Leeds, UK. He is committed to providing his patients with the latest safe and minimally-invasive surgical techniques, including endoscopic surgery, transanal endoscopic microsurgery (TAMIS), and keyhole colorectal surgery.

In addition to his expertise in traditional surgery, Dr. Koshy also performs robotic surgery for colon and rectal cancer, including rectopexy using the Da-Vinci robot.
