Dr Anh Tran-Nam

Dr Anh Tran-Nam is a dedicated geriatrician who is passionate about providing exceptional care to seniors. Her focus on aged care is deeply rooted in her personal experiences, having witnessed her own family's commitment to caring for her grandparents who suffered from severe dementia. Dr Tran-Nam strongly believes in person-centred care, prioritising individual needs and family involvement to optimize quality of life, independence, and wellness.

After completing her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Honours from the University of New South Wales in 2011, Dr Tran-Nam finished her Advanced Training in Geriatric Medicine at Prince of Wales, St. Vincent's and Royal North Shore Hospitals. In 2019, she received the esteemed Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Geriatric Medicine (FRACP).

Currently working as a consultant geriatrician at Northern Beaches Hospital and serving as Chair of the hospital's Cognition Committee, Dr Tran-Nam is committed to teaching and previously held conjoint associate lecturer positions at UNSW.
