Dr Anders Faber-Swensson is an experienced gynaecologist and obstetrician serving patients in Noosa and the Sunshine Coast. With a special interest in infertility and laparoscopic surgery, Dr Faber-Swensson provides expert consultations and surgeries at the Noosa Hospital and Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital.

Originally from Norway, Dr Faber-Swensson relocated to Australia to pursue his medical degree at Newcastle before moving to Queensland to further his training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He completed training roles at various hospitals across Queensland, including Nambour General Hospital, and was subsequently awarded his FRANZCOG qualification.

With extensive experience in all aspects of gynaecology and obstetrics, Dr Faber-Swensson's expertise extends to infertility treatments and laparoscopic surgery. His commitment to delivering the best patient care is evident through his pursuit of continued professional development, attending professional meetings and courses to expand his knowledge and improve his skills.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Faber-Swensson plays an active role in medical student teaching and assessments, holding a lecturer appointment at the University of Queensland. He has also conducted research in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology, resulting in several publications.

Dr Faber-Swensson is a dedicated family man who enjoys spending time with his wife and four young children. Outside of his professional responsibilities, he finds joy in playing the piano and ukulele, swimming in the pool, and visiting the beach.
