Dr Felicity Adams

Dr Felicity Adams is an accomplished General and Breast & Endocrine Surgeon based in Gympie and Noosa. She provides comprehensive healthcare services for patients of all ages and genders, with particular expertise in Endocrine, Skin Cancer, Breast, General, and Endoscopic Surgeries. Dr Adams graduated from the University of Queensland in 2005 with a Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery, following which she underwent a surgical specialty training program at Brisbane's Princess Alexandra Hospital. During this period, she gained invaluable experience in general surgery, including advanced laparoscopic procedures, before obtaining a Fellowship in General Surgery from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2014.

Subsequently, Dr Adams pursued further training in Breast and Endocrine Surgery at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, where she refined her skills in breast surgery, thyroid surgery, laparoscopic adrenalectomy, and minimally invasive parathyroidectomy. She is affiliated with the Australian and New Zealand Endocrine Surgeons, Australasian Society for Breast Disease, and General Surgeons Australia, and maintains an active interest in helping young female athletes realize their potential. Moreover, Dr Adams has certification in Level 1 and Level 2 oncoplastic procedures with BreastSurg ANZ and is accredited for colonoscopy and endoscopy by the Conjoint Committee for Recognition of Training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

Dr Adams is a highly respected surgeon with a commitment to providing the latest and best surgical care practices. She is a faculty member of the University of Queensland School of Medicine and participates in numerous national and international surgical conferences and training programs. Furthermore, she serves as the representative for the Department of Surgery at the Medical Advisory Committee of Noosa Hospital.
