Dr Adrian Sjarif is a skilled and accomplished Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgeon. He completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Science from the University of NSW and later pursued an Honours Degree in medicine and surgery from the University of Sydney. Following that, he underwent several years of general surgical training before achieving a Master’s Degree in Surgery from the University of Sydney. Dr Sjarif went on to complete a specialized surgical training scheme, receiving his Fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2013.
After completing his fellowship, Dr Sjarif then advanced his training with a 12-month sub-specialty course in Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital, New York - renowned for cancer services and one of the leading cancer treatment centers for adults and children worldwide. He gained significant experience in both reconstructive and aesthetic breast procedures utilising, implant-based and microsurgical techniques.
Dr Adrian Sjarif then chose to further his education in facial aesthetic surgery with Professor Gubisch at the Marien Hospital in Germany.
Upon returning to Australia in 2014, Dr Sjarif began operating in and around the Sydney and Wollongong regions and focuses on numerous special interests including Breast Surgery, Facial Rejuvenation Surgery, Body Contouring Surgery, Rhinoplasty, and Skin Cancer Reconstruction.
Adrian’s approach is to ensure timely and personal care to his patients. He values communication and collaboration which helps him provide a clear understanding to his patients about their surgical treatment. His enthusiastic approach and commendable listening skills ensure that his patients are comfortable throughout the process, thereby providing them with an excellent experience.
