Dr Vincent Goh is a highly skilled and experienced cardiologist specialising in general cardiology, cardiac arrhythmia, and heart failure management. He is based in Ashford, a suburb in Adelaide, South Australia.
Dr Goh completed his undergraduate medical training at the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom in 2003. Following this, he pursued his postgraduate training in cardiology at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He holds the qualifications of MBChB FRACP.
In 2012, Dr Goh received the prestigious Australian Postgraduate Award to commence his PhD at the University of Adelaide. His research is focused on atrial fibrillation (AF) and aims to enhance the understanding of AF at a bio-molecular level.
Aside from his private practice, Dr Goh serves as a consultant cardiologist at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Lyell McEwin Hospital. He also holds the position of Clinical Associate Lecturer at the University of Adelaide Medical School.
Born in Malaysia, Dr Goh is fluent in various languages including Bahasa Malaysia, Cantonese, Mandarin, Hokkien, and Teochew. This linguistic ability enables him to effectively communicate with a diverse range of patients.
Dr Goh joined SA Heart in early 2013 and regularly conducts clinics at their Findon, Ashford, and Berri locations. His services include consultations, echocardiography exercise stress testing, diagnostic angiography, and implantation of cardiac devices.
