Mr Tuck Yong

Mr. Yong is an accomplished surgeon with extensive experience in General Surgery and specialized training in liver, biliary and pancreatic surgery. He holds a fellowship from the Victoria Training Program and obtained his degree from the University of Tasmania in 2003. He also holds a public appointment as a consultant surgeon at Northern Hospital, Epping.

Throughout his career, Mr. Yong has demonstrated a commitment to innovative research, having earned the Graeme Duffy Memorial Prize for the best research presentation in 2006. He is fluent in various languages, including Malay and various Chinese dialects, such as Mandarin and Cantonese.

Mr. Yong's areas of expertise include performing the laparoscopic whipple's procedure, making him one of only a handful of surgeons in Australia with this skill. He is also proficient in a range of procedures, including liver surgery, bile duct surgery, pancreatic surgery, gallbladder surgery, gastric surgery, oesophageal reflux surgery, hiatal hernia surgery and interventional endoscopy.

Mr. Yong's extensive training and experience make him a highly valued member of the medical profession, having worked in the Australian National Liver Transplant Unit alongside his specialized training in hepatobiliary surgery.
