Dr Timothy McLean is an experienced Ear Nose & Throat Specialist (ENT) based in Melbourne. He holds a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, which he obtained in 2017. Dr McLean also completed a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Sydney in 2010, as well as a Bachelor of Dentistry in 2004 from the same institution.
Dr McLean's diverse range of qualifications and extensive training allows him to provide comprehensive care to both pediatric and adult patients. His areas of special interest include pediatric and children's general ENT conditions, adult general ENT conditions, head and neck cancer (including benign and malignant conditions), ear diseases, and hearing loss.
In addition, Dr McLean has a particular expertise in cochlear implants and bone-anchored hearing aids (BAHA), helping patients with hearing impairments achieve improved auditory function and quality of life. He also manages conditions related to vestibular and balance disorders, tinnitus, facial nerve diseases and disorders, as well as neuro-otology and skull base surgery.
Dr McLean's commitment to providing the best possible care is evident in his continual pursuit of excellence in his field. He is a member of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and remains up-to-date with the latest advances in ENT through regular professional development activities.
