Dr Tim Musgrove is an Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in surgical procedures of the knee and ankle, as well as knee joint replacement/arthroplasty. He practices in Wollstonecraft, Sydney.

After attending South Coogee Public School and Sydney Boys High School, Dr Musgrove pursued his education and received a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Physiotherapy in 1983 from Cumberland College of Health Sciences. He then worked as a Sports Physiotherapist in private practice, gaining valuable experience in sports medicine.

In 1985, Dr Musgrove decided to further his studies and obtained a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery Degree from Sydney University in 1990. He completed his intern and resident placements at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney. Dr Musgrove was accepted as an Orthopaedic Surgical Trainee in 1994 and obtained the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Orthopaedic Surgery in 1997.

Dr Musgrove further specialized in his field by completing Fellowships under the supervision of Assoc. Prof Leo Pinczewski and Dr Kim Slater at the North Sydney Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre (NSOSMC) from 1998 to 1999. He became a partner in that practice in 2000 and established his own practice at NSOSMC in Crows Nest. He also provided consultations at South Sydney Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre (SSOSMC) and Physical Therapy in Wollongong.

In 2008, Dr Musgrove seized an opportunity to establish practice at the Sydney Football (Allianz) Stadium and relocated to Moore Park. He merged his interests and experience from NSOSMC, SSOSMC, and Stadium Orthopaedics into the concept of 1ORTHO in 2013 to continue providing a unique sports orthopaedic service.

Dr Musgrove has published articles in the American Journal of Sports Medicine and has been actively involved in educational roles with the NSW Orthopaedic Association (NSW AOA), NSW Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (NSW RACS), and University of Notre Dame School of Medicine. He served as Chairman of the NSW AOA for 8 years and has been an Executive Member of the NSW RACS since 2010.

With a passion for rugby, Dr Musgrove has not only worked as a Medical Officer during the Sydney 2000 Olympics and the 2003 Rugby World Cup, but he is also an active Level 1 Rugby Referee and Referee coach.

Dr Tim Musgrove is a dedicated Orthopaedic Surgeon, committed to providing specialized care and returning patients to their chosen activities and lifestyle pursuits. He is a member of various professional organizations including the Australian Orthopaedic Association, Australian Society of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Royal Australian College of Surgeons, Australian Medical Association, and the Australian Knee Society.
