Dr Suzana Kotevska

Dr. Suzana Kotevska is an experienced and passionate Obstetrician and Gynaecologist based in The Epworth Freemasons Private Hospital in East Melbourne, Australia. She is a specialist accredited by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologist (RANZCOG).

Dr. Suzana offers personalized services tailored to each woman's needs and operates from two renowned private hospitals, Epworth Freemasons and St Vincent's Private. With decades of experience, she provides exceptional care and professional assistance to women from diverse cultural backgrounds. In addition to English, she is fluent in Bosnian, Bulgarian, Croatian, Macedonian, and Serbian.

Dr. Suzana's interest lies in high-risk and complicated pregnancies, multiple pregnancies, normal pregnancies, general gynaecology, management of pelvic pain, contraception, and menopause. She stays updated with the latest advancements in her field by attending conferences and aims to provide well-informed guidance to her patients.

Dr. Suzana completed her medical degree at the Kiril and Metodij University in Skopje, Macedonia in 1987. Following her internship, she worked as a lecturer of pathology in the Medical School for Nurses and as a Resident Medical Officer at the Infectious Diseases Department in the public hospital sector. In 1990, she moved to Australia, where she completed her internship at Geelong Hospital in 1991 and fulfilled all the registration requirements of the Australian Medical Council. Dr. Suzana worked at Bendigo Hospital from 1995 to 1999, where she was introduced to Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Encouraged by the consultants at Bendigo Hospital, she entered the official training program and spent the next five and a half years at Monash Medical Centre, specialising in high-risk obstetrics. She also gained valuable experience working in several hospitals in Melbourne and Tasmania as part of her training.

Beyond her medical career, Dr. Suzana enjoys reading, singing, sewing, and knitting. Spending time with her husband and daughters is precious to her, and she is dedicated to her role as a doctor, finding it both demanding and rewarding. Dr. Suzana's passion for her work is evident in her commitment to providing the best care possible to her patients.
