Dr Paul Berlund

Paul is a compassionate Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who provides private services from his practice at Elgin House. With his expertise in obstetrics, he assists women with various pregnancy-related concerns such as pregnancy preparation, early pregnancy problems, and bleeding in the first trimester. Paul is experienced in providing compassionate care for women with miscarriage, multiple miscarriages, and ectopic pregnancy management. After graduating from the University of Queensland, Paul underwent training at The Royal Women’s Hospital and is currently working as a consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. He specializes in delivering obstetric care to women with pre-existing or complex medical problems. Paul is passionate about providing care to women with severe hyperemesis, multiple pregnancies, and women who had a prior caesarean section. Apart from obstetrics, Paul is also knowledgeable in women’s health and gynaecological concerns such as heavy, painful, or irregular periods, polycystic ovarian syndrome, pelvic pain, endometriosis, adenomyosis, uterine polyps or fibroids, abnormal pap smear results, and contraceptive choices. Paul is trained in advanced laparoscopy units at both The Royal Women’s Hospital and Sunshine Hospital. Moreover, he is passionate about teaching and supporting junior doctors' welfare. Paul's commitment and dedication to providing women's health care have earned him a reputation as a trusted and caring specialist.
