Dr Sarah Cho

Dr. Sarah Cho is an accomplished and experienced gastroenterologist with specialised expertise in advanced endoscopy procedures. She graduated with first-class honors in 1998 from the University of Sydney and completed her physician and gastroenterology training at Royal North Shore Hospital.

Dr. Cho pursued further training and completed advanced therapeutic endoscopy fellowship programs at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, Australia, and The Centre for Therapeutic Endoscopy and Endoscopic Oncology in Toronto, Canada. In 2013, she received a Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine from the University of Sydney for her research on the endoscopic diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal disorders.

Currently, Dr. Cho serves as a Consultant Gastroenterologist at North Shore Private and Sydney Adventist Hospitals. In addition, she holds an appointment at Royal North Shore Hospital as a Staff Specialist in Gastroenterology. Her expertise includes a wide range of advanced endoscopy procedures such as endoscopy, colonoscopy, complex polypectomy, endoscopic ultrasound, ERCP, small bowel capsule endoscopy, and balloon enteroscopy. Her special interests lie in the early detection and endoscopic resection of esophageal, gastric, and colon cancer.

Dr. Cho is an active member of the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA) and serves on the Executive Committee of the Australian Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Association (AGEA). She has a strong commitment to continuing education and has published numerous papers and abstracts in peer-reviewed journals.
