Prof Ross Baker

Prof. Ross Baker is a highly experienced consultant haematologist with specialist expertise in managing thrombosis and haemostasis disorders. He previously served as the Director of the Thrombosis and Haemophilia Centre of Western Australia at Royal Perth Hospital, and he continues to hold several key roles across various national and international haematology societies, including membership in the Australasian Society of Thrombosis and Haemostasis, International Society of Thrombosis and Haemostasis, and the Asia-Pacific Society of Thrombosis and Haemostasis.

As a Clinical Expert Reviewer for the Therapeutics Goods Administration and co-chairman for the Australasian National Thrombosis Working Party, Prof. Baker is a recognized expert in his field, highly respected for his clinical acumen and leadership abilities. He currently serves as Chairman of the Perth Blood Institute, Director of the Western Australian Centre of Thrombosis and Haemostasis at Murdoch University, and senior consultant haematologist at Haematology West and Western Diagnostic Pathology.

In addition, Prof. Baker is the Director of the Hollywood Haemophilia Treatment Centre in Perth and has published more than 90 peer-reviewed articles. He is currently the principal investigator for several clinical trials at The Perth Blood Institute and has initiated a number of multicentre international investigator-initiated studies, further demonstrating his commitment to advancing research and improving patient outcomes in haematology.
