Dr Maan Alwan

Dr Maan Alwan is a highly skilled clinical and laboratory haematologist with a passion for both malignant and non-malignant haematology. He is dual qualified and has a wealth of experience in treating complex haematological conditions. Dr Alwan has a particular interest in myeloma, lymphoma, and clotting & bleeding disorders.

As a clinical investigator at the Perth Blood Institute, Dr Alwan is actively involved in research and clinical trials. He is committed to advancing knowledge and improving treatment options for his patients and the wider medical community.

Dr Alwan practices in multiple locations, including Western Haematology & Oncology Clinics in West Perth and Hollywood Private Hospital in Nedlands. In addition, he works as a part-time laboratory haematologist at Western Diagnostic Pathology.

Prior to his current role, Dr Alwan completed his specialist training at Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. He is dedicated to providing his patients with the highest quality care, leveraging his experience, knowledge, and cutting-edge technology and techniques.
