Dr Robert Tewksbury

Dr. Robert Tewksbury is a skilled Vascular Surgeon who practices at Hollywood Hospital and has public appointments at Osborne Park, Sir Charles Gairdner, and Joondalup Health Campus. He achieved his FRACS in Vascular Surgery in 2019 and finished a 6-month fellowship on vascular surgery at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane in 2020. Afterward, he moved to Perth and started working as Staff Specialist at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital.

While pursuing his training, Dr. Tewksbury has authored studies on tibial angioplasty and aorta-iliac stenting for Peripheral Arterial Disease. Presently, he is involved in numerous research projects at the Heart and Vascular Institute at the Harry Perkins Institute and is devoted to mentoring junior doctors and providing medical student teaching for UWA and Curtin universities.

Dr. Tewksbury is enthusiastic about educating GP’s and is available by arrangement to visit surgeries. He delivers talks on various topics such as contemporary diabetic foot management, minimally invasive methods for peripheral vascular disease, and acute aortic syndromes.
