Dr Elayne Ooi

Dr. Elayne Sue Min Ooi is a highly skilled general urologist with extensive experience in robotic surgery and brachytherapy for prostate cancer, microsurgical vasectomy reversal, and green light laser surgery for prostate enlargement. She also specialises in the treatment of kidney stones, bladder cancer, voiding dysfunction, Botox injections, and sacral neuromodulation for overactive bladder. Dr. Ooi consults from her private rooms in Mount Hawthorn and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. She is registered with all major health funds, and her services are available at several reputable hospitals, including Mount Lawley, Hollywood Private Hospital, Glengarry Private Hospital, St John of God Hospital, Subiaco, Mount Hospital, and Osborne Park Hospital.

Dr. Ooi is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Society of Robotic Surgery and has trained extensively in Western Australia, obtaining her MBBS from the University of Adelaide. Her previous appointments include Paediatric Urology Fellow at Princess Margaret Hospital and Robotic Surgery and Oncology Fellow at Royal Adelaide Hospital. She has also completed the Emergency Management of Severe Trauma (EMST) course, Cutting Edge: Essential Surgical Skills course, Core Skills: Intermediate Laparoscopic Skills Workshop, and URGE Active Learning Module Workshop for general practitioners. Dr. Ooi currently serves as Chair of Hollywood Private Hospital Urology Craft Group, a member of Hollywood Private Hospital Medical Advisory Committee, and a senior instructor on Emergency Management of Severe Trauma course.
