Dr William Blakeney

Dr William Blakeney is an Orthopaedic Surgeon who specializes in all aspects of shoulder surgery, personalized hip and knee replacements. With a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery degree from the University of Western Australia, Dr Blakeney completed his advanced training in orthopaedic surgery in Western Australia before embarking on a journey to gain international experience.

During his international training, Dr Blakeney completed fellowship training in shoulder surgery at the Santy FIFA Medical Centre of Excellence in Lyon, France. He also spent 12 months in Montreal, Canada, where he undertook a fellowship in hip and knee replacement surgery, and obtained a diploma in hip and knee joint reconstruction with the University of Montreal. Additionally, he completed an AO trauma surgery fellowship in Nashville, USA.

Dr Blakeney is a highly accomplished researcher in the field of orthopaedics, with over 50 peer-reviewed publications in the orthopaedic literature. He holds a Master's degree in Surgery from the University of Western Australia and a Master's degree in Clinical Trials from the University of London.
