Dr Renuka Mendonca

Meet Dr Jeyanthi Arockiam, an experienced physician who is currently affiliated with The Hills Private Hospital. Throughout her career, Dr Arockiam has shown a passion for the field of rehabilitation medicine and has developed a particular interest in prosthetics. As a result, she has treated numerous patients who require upper and lower prosthetic limbs, helping them to achieve functional restoration and regain their independence.

Dr Arockiam began her journey in medicine by attending Tamilnadu Dr MGR Medical University in Chennai, India where she obtained her MBBS degree. During her studies, she also earned a Diploma in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Government Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine. In 2008, Dr Arockiam moved to Australia to continue her education and become a licensed physician there.

During her time in Australia, Dr Arockiam completed the AMC exam and pursued additional training in rehabilitation medicine. She obtained FIM certification and trained in upper and lower limb prosthetics at Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney. In recognition of her outstanding achievements, she was awarded a Fellowship in Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine in 2013.

Today, Dr Arockiam is a highly respected member of the medical community, known for her compassionate approach and commitment to her patients. She continues to provide expert care at The Hills Private Hospital, where she helps patients with a wide range of rehabilitation needs to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
