Dr Ramsey Jabbour

Dr Ramsey Jabbour is a specialist in chronic pain and minimally invasive neuromodulation techniques such as radiofrequency ablation and spinal cord stimulators. These techniques are used to alleviate the effects of pain and reduce the need for pharmacological therapy, thereby improving patients' quality of life. Dr Jabbour has a dual qualification as a Specialist Pain Medicine Physician and a Specialist Occupational Physician. He obtained his medical degree from University College London in 2001 and went on to train as a General Practitioner, achieving a Distinction in his UK College Membership exams. He gained experience in occupational health, injury management and musculoskeletal injuries while working in the City of London. In 2008, he moved to Australia where he worked for over five years as a Senior Medical Officer at two large LNG construction sites, gaining more experience in occupational health and safety. During this time, he completed his training as an Occupational Physician and Pain Medicine specialist, earning the Deane Southgate Award for the highest aggregate score in the written and practical exams, and the Merit Award in the Pain Medicine fellowship examinations (FFPMANZCA). Dr Jabbour currently operates from the Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital as a private practitioner. He is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (UK), a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, a Fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, and a Fellow of the Faculty of Pain Medicine, Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists. His expertise in chronic pain management and minimally invasive techniques has helped improve the lives of many patients.
