Dr Rahul Mehrotra

Dr. Rahul Mehrotra received his medical education and initial surgical training in India before earning a General Surgery specialty credential through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2016. He also completed a fellowship in Colorectal & Breast Surgery at Gosford Hospital. He has a particular interest in minimally invasive groin and ventral/incisional hernia repair, gallbladder surgery, abdominal surgery, and surgical treatment of skin cancer.

Providing a comprehensive range of services, Dr. Mehrotra performs diagnostic gastroscopy and colonoscopy and offers on-call services for surgical emergencies at Lake Macquarie Private Hospital. Additionally, his practice prioritises urgent appointments for rapid access colonoscopy.
