Dr Pramod Menon

Dr Pramod Menon is an experienced consultant psychiatrist based in Rockhampton, Queensland. With a strong background in treating a variety of mental health conditions, his areas of expertise include psychosis, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorders.

Having previously worked as a consultant psychiatrist in the UK National Health Service, Dr Pramod completed his specialist training in general adult psychiatry with an additional endorsement in rehabilitation psychiatry in 2013. He is a member of The Royal College of Psychiatrists and achieved the Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists in 2017.

Dr Pramod believes in a holistic approach to mental health care, incorporating traditional clinical methods with a focus on promoting physical fitness and well-being. He values patient well-being above all else, and strives to provide high-quality, person-centered care to all of his patients.

In addition to his clinical roles at the Rockhampton Hospital, Dr Pramod holds the title of 'Lecturer' at the University of Queensland. He recently started his own private practice, where he is accepting new patients. Located at the We Care Clinic in the Hillcrest Rockhampton Private Hospital, Dr Pramod also has admission rights to Archerview Clinic.

With a passion for research and medical education, Dr Pramod has a postgraduate certificate in medical education and has been actively involved in research throughout his career.
