Dr Peter Wilson

Dr. Peter is a highly skilled neurosurgeon currently serving as a consultant at Prince of Wales Public and Private Hospitals. He completed his medical education at the University of Sydney in 2005 and went on to perform advanced training under the guidance of over 30 neurosurgeons. This comprehensive training honed his clinical decision-making skills and operative techniques with pathologies across the entire spectrum.

During his training, Dr. Peter earned a Masters of Surgery by research at the University of New South Wales and a Master of Surgery at Macquarie University. After completing his neurosurgical training, he worked as a locum consultant neurosurgeon at the Prince of Wales Public Hospital and then pursued post-fellowship training. He undertook a complex spinal fellowship in Adelaide, which included trauma, spinal deformity, and minimally invasive spinal surgery.

Dr. Peter furthered his experience by travelling to Birmingham, UK, to gain further expertise in stereotactic radiosurgery and its applications. His training journey culminated in learning from one of the world's leaders in endoscopic skull base surgery, Dr. Theodore Schwartz at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York, USA.
