Dr Peter Hollett

Dr. Hollett is a highly qualified Nephrologist consulting at various hospitals across the Sunshine Coast, including Noosa Hospital, Nambour Selangor Private Hospital, and Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital. He received his medical degree from the University of Queensland and completed his Physician training at Royal Brisbane Hospital. Later, he went on to complete his Nephrology and Transplantation training at Princess Alexandra and Royal Adelaide Hospitals.

In 2003, Dr. Hollett returned to the Sunshine Coast as a Consultant Nephrologist in private practice and a VMO in Nephrology at Nambour Hospital. Since then, he has been actively involved in establishing dialysis units across the Sunshine Coast and has played a significant role in maintaining a 24-hour, 7-day per week Nephrology on-call service in public and private practice.

Apart from his clinical practice, Dr. Hollett is also passionate about teaching and research. He is committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based care to his patients and has a keen interest in General Nephrology, Dialysis, Renal Transplantation, Hypertension, and Electrolyte abnormalities.

Dr. Hollett's leadership skills are evident in his long-standing role as the Director of Medical Services Group at Nambour Hospital from 2009 till 2017. He is highly respected by his peers and colleagues for his dedication and contribution to the field of Nephrology.
