Dr Peter Heffernan

Dr Peter Heffernan is a Consultant Psychiatrist and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist based in Langwarrin, Melbourne, Victoria. With over 40 years of experience in the field, he specializes in Adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Jungian Psychotherapy, and the Psychological Medicine aspects of Chronic Pain conditions.

Dr Heffernan obtained his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree in 1979. He further pursued his interest in Psychiatry, earning a Master's degree in Psychological Medicine (MPM) in 1995. In 1992, he became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP), showcasing his expertise in the field.
