Dr. Sadaf Khattak is a psychiatrist with a focus on women's mental health, ADHD, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, bipolar affective disorders, sleep disorders, chronic fatigue, and trauma-related stress disorders. She graduated from the University of Peshawar, Pakistan in 2002 and worked there for five years before relocating to Australia in 2008. During her time in Pakistan, she provided care to patients in disaster-affected areas with limited access to medical care. Dr. Khattak completed her Masters in Psychiatric Medicine from the University of Melbourne and has a fellowship from The Royal Australasian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. She has extensive experience working in various settings, including inpatient units, community mental health clinics, gender clinics, and prevention and recovery care services across different regions in Australia. Dr. Khattak believes in a collaborative and evidence-based approach to treatment, focusing on identifying shared goals with patients. She advocates for a holistic approach in the treatment of mental illness. In addition to English, Dr. Khattak is fluent in Hindi, Pashto, Punjabi, and Urdu.
