Dr Ravi Talluri

With fluency in Hindi and Telugu, Dr Talluri is able to effectively communicate with patients who speak these languages, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care. His expertise extends to a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, addiction medicine, rehabilitation, personality disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), conflict situation syndromes, trans-cultural psychiatry, and aged psychiatry.

Dr Talluri has experience working with different age groups, including adults aged 18-60, senior patients aged 60+, and young adults aged 16-24. He also has experience working with specific populations, such as asylum seekers and refugees, doctors, psychiatrists or medical students, military and veterans, non-English speaking individuals, and emergency services personnel.

Some of Dr Talluri's areas of expertise include the diagnosis and management of bipolar disorder, complex trauma, electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), epilepsy, obsessive-compulsive disorders, personality disorders, prolonged grief, and schizophrenia.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Talluri provides a range of services to his patients. He bulk-bills selected patients, offers professional supervision, and is a Workcover provider. He is also available for after-hours appointments and has experience working with interpreters to ensure effective communication in the consultation room.
