Dr Peter Dutton

Dr Peter Dutton is a highly proficient and skilled advanced laparoscopic colorectal and general surgeon. He obtained his MBBS BSc (Med) degree from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS). His specialities include colorectal surgery, gastroscopy and colonoscopy, as well as endorectal 3D ultrasound and 3D anorectal physiology and manometry.

With over a decade of experience in the field, Peter has undertaken extensive training to perfect his skills. He completed a one-year colorectal fellowship at Westmead Hospital in Sydney and a second-year laparoscopic colorectal fellowship at Singapore General Hospital in Singapore. Moreover, he is a member of the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand (CSSANZ) and listed as a recognised practitioner for gastroscopy and colonoscopy on GESA accreditation website.

Peter’s relentless desire to continue learning has taken him to the Washington University School of Medicine and Missouri Baptist Hospital in St Louis (USA), where he completed a training course.
