Dr Mosadek Miah

Dr Miah's special interests lie in general adult psychiatry, with a particular focus on mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and perinatal women's mental health. He is experienced in working with individuals across various age groups, including mother and baby, adults aged 18-60, and individuals aged 60 and above.

Dr Miah has a comprehensive understanding of a wide range of conditions, including addiction, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, dementia-related disorders, depression, developmental disability, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, personality disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, problem gambling, and psychosis.

In addition to his expertise in these areas, Dr Miah has a keen interest in schizophrenia. He is skilled in providing opinion and reports (MBS item 291), shared care, urgent assessments, and weekly psychotherapy sessions.

As a bilingual healthcare professional, Dr Miah is fluent in English and Bengali. This allows him to effectively communicate with individuals who speak Bengali as their primary language.

Dr Miah also offers telehealth services, providing flexibility and convenience for his patients who may find it challenging to attend in-person consultations.
