A/Prof Stanley Braude

Dr Braud is a highly experienced medical professional, with diverse expertise in respiratory and intensive care medicine. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Cape Town, and continued training at some of the most reputable hospitals in the world. Dr Braud completed his respiratory and intensive care medicine training at Kings College Hospital, London, and the Royal Brompton Hospital, where he honed his specialized skills. He further expanded his knowledge and expertise by serving as a Research Fellow at the Royal Postgraduate Medical School, where he conducted in-depth research on acute lung injury pathophysiology, leading to multiple peer-reviewed publications and a doctoral thesis.

With over two decades of medical experience, Dr Braud has worked as a Staff Specialist at Manly Hospital and currently serves as a Visiting Medical Officer at the Northern Beaches Hospital in Australia. Throughout his career, he has been actively involved in teaching at the University of Sydney's Medical programme. He has held the title of Associate Professorial Clinical Academic at the University for a significant part of his career, demonstrating his commitment to advancing the field of medicine through both research and teaching.
