Dr Michelle Atkinson

Dr Michelle Atkinson is a renowned spine surgeon based in Sydney who specialises in degenerative spinal conditions in adults. Michelle completed her surgical training in rural and metropolitan NSW through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Australian Orthopaedic Association. Furthering her practice, she pursued advanced studies in spine surgery in world-renowned centres in the USA and the UK. Michelle has been a resident consultant on the Northern Beaches since 2000 where she is part of Peninsula Orthopaedics. She offers specialised care to adults, ages 16 years and above, with various spinal conditions such as trauma, deformity, tumour, infection, and degeneration. Michelle is known for her compassionate approach to patient care and her expertise in using advanced surgical techniques in addressing complex spinal conditions. Through her practice, she seeks to restore her patients' optimal spinal function and improve their overall quality of life.
