Dr Kumuthiny Kalaialagan

Dr. Kumuthiny Kalaialagan, also known as Dr. Kumi, is an experienced General Paediatrician who has been practicing for over 18 years. She graduated with MBBS in 2004, receiving a gold medal in Paediatrics, and went on to complete her Doctor in Paediatrics (MD) in 2010 at Colombo University, Sri Lanka. During this period, she gained practical training in acute, complex, and chronic paediatric and neonatal medical problems, making her proficient in treating difficult cases.

Prior to migrating to Australia, Dr. Kumi worked as a Consultant Paediatrician and Lecturer in Paediatrics in Sri Lanka. Since moving to Australia, she has accumulated eight years of work experience in the field, operating in various regional and metropolitan hospitals in newborn and paediatric units in NSW during her Fellowship training. She completed her Paediatric training in Australia and now holds a Fellowship in Paediatrics (FRACP), Diploma in Child Health (Sydney), and a Certificate in Emergency Medicine (Australasia).

Dr. Kumi's expertise lies in General Paediatrics and Neonatology, and she has treated numerous patients in Australia and Sri Lanka over the years. Her extensive training experience enables her to address complex issues with ease, making her a trusted name in the industry.
