Dr. Karan Makhija is a passionate Clinical and Laboratory Haematologist who specialises in various areas of Haematology, including blood count abnormalities, thrombosis, lymphoma, myeloma, and leukaemia. With extensive experience in both public and private Haematology practice, Karan serves as a Staff Specialist at the Calvary Mater Hospital, Manning Base Hospital, and Hunter Valley Haematology in Cooks Hill.
Dr Makhija has earned numerous accolades in his field, including an Academic Medal for his medical degree and Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians and the Royal College of Pathologists Australasia for his dual training in clinical and laboratory Haematology. He is committed to providing timely and quality care to his patients and is currently offering private appointments to new patients in a very prompt manner.
