Dr. Benjamin McGrath is an orthopaedic surgeon based in Sydney, specializing in surgeries related to the hip, knee, shoulder, and upper limb. With over 15 years of experience in patient care, Dr. McGrath completed his medical degree from the University of New South Wales in 2005. He is associated with Warners Bay Private Hospital.
Having a particular interest in sports injuries, Dr. McGrath focuses on joint preservation and shoulder, elbow, and knee arthroplasty. He received recognition for his expertise in shoulder, elbow, and knee reconstruction as he was awarded the Australian fellowship for his contributions to this field. In order to further enhance his skills, Dr. McGrath completed a 12-month fellowship in arthroscopic sports reconstruction and joint preservation in Vancouver, Canada.
Dr. McGrath constantly works towards developing new techniques that aim to minimize hospital stays and improve the comfort of rehabilitation for his patients. In addition to his clinical work, he is also involved in teaching medical professionals. Dr. McGrath holds affiliations with the University of Newcastle and Maitland Base Hospital, where he imparts his knowledge and contributes to the education of future medical professionals.
