Dr Joanna Walton

Dr Joanna Walton is a renowned ear, nose and throat surgeon, with a particular focus on hearing loss and ear disorders. Her expertise in cochlear implantation and hearing implants has transformed the lives of countless patients. Dr Walton has extensive experience in paediatric ear, nose and throat disorders as well.

Dr Walton obtained her medical degree with honours from the University of New South Wales in 1998. She went on to complete her surgical training in ear, nose and throat surgery, as well as a Masters of Surgery at the University of Sydney. Additionally, Dr Walton pursued further training in ear and hearing implantation surgery at the prestigious Otology and Skull Base unit in Cambridge, UK.

Her commitment to academic research has yielded numerous publications in globally recognized, peer reviewed journals. She is frequently invited to present her work at national and international conferences within her areas of expertise.
