Dr Jason Maani is a highly experienced General, Upper GI and Bariatric Surgeon who values a holistic approach to sustained weight loss. Dr Maani has a passion for ensuring bariatric surgery procedures deliver lasting results, and has made significant contributions to the field through his research on outcomes. He is a fellow of the prestigious Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. After earning his degree in medicine from the University of Auckland, Dr Maani moved to Australia, where he earned specialist General Surgery training at the Royal Melbourne Hospitals and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Victoria. He later continued his sub specialist training in upper gastrointestinal surgery at the renowned Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth, before completing advanced laparoscopic upper GI and bariatric surgery training at St. George Public and Private Hospitals. Dr Maani consults at Integrated Specialist Health Care in Figtree, where he performs bariatric surgeries including Lap Band, Gastric Bypass, Mini-Gastric Bypass, and Sleeve Gastrectomy.
