Dr Iftikhar Ahmad

Dr. Ahmad is a highly experienced adult generalist psychiatrist with a passion for helping people improve their mental health. Originally from the UK, he moved to Australia in 2005 and has been working in the public sector Mental Health Services in Queensland until 2015. Currently, Dr. Ahmad works as a Consultant Psychiatrist at Liverpool Hospital for two days a week, as a VMO at Drug Health with Sydney Southwest Local Health for two days a week, and at Ramsay Clinic Macarthur for two half days a week.

With his vast experience in the field of mental health, Dr. Ahmad is dedicated to providing personalized and comprehensive care to his patients. He is fluent in several languages including Urdu, Hindi, and Pashto, which helps him to communicate effectively with his patients from diverse backgrounds.

Currently, Dr. Ahmad is also pursuing his fellowship in Addiction Medicine, which further enhances his ability to provide the best care possible to patients seeking help for addiction-related issues.
