Dr Haren Nandapalan

Dr. Haren Nandapalan is an orthopedic surgeon based in Barangaroo, Sydney. He specializes in shoulder, elbow, and hand surgery, with particular expertise in arthroscopic, reconstructive, and arthroplasty procedures for sports and degenerative conditions. Dr. Nandapalan completed his medical degree at the University of Newcastle in 2008 and entered the prestigious Australian Orthopaedic Association Training program in 2012. Throughout his training, he gained valuable experience at major trauma centers and upper limb units across the country. He became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Australian Orthopaedic Association in 2018.

To further his knowledge and skills in upper limb and trauma surgery, Dr. Nandapalan completed a Shoulder and Elbow Fellowship with the Sydney Shoulder Research Institute (SSRI). Additionally, he is actively involved in teaching and currently holds the position of Head of Surgery at the University of Notre Dame Hawkesbury Clinical School of Medicine. Dr. Nandapalan is committed to education and actively participates in initiatives organized by the Australian Orthopaedic Association.
