Dr Murali Komala

Dr Murali Komala is a Consultant Nephrologist with a wealth of experience in renal medicine. He underwent an extensive training program under the Royal Prince Alfred Network, Sydney, and later pursued Renal Medicine training through various other hospitals. With a particular clinical interest in chronic kidney disease, diabetic kidney disease, interventional nephrology, and pregnancy-related medical complications, Dr Komala has experience in all aspects of renal medicine such as hypertension, acute kidney injury, dialysis, and transplantation.

Apart from his clinical commitments, Dr Komala has a keen interest in research and is currently pursuing his PhD at Sydney University. He has actively been involved in clinical research at Nepean Hospital and has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals. Furthermore, he is heavily engaged in academic work at Nepean Clinical School, affiliated with Sydney University.

In his Consultative Nephrology services, Dr Komala aims to provide comprehensive care for patients with renal disease and hypertension. His goal is to work with his patients to understand their unique needs and develop a personalised treatment plan that is suitable for their individual medical conditions.
