Dr Edwina Moore

Dr. Edwina Moore is a highly skilled and compassionate Breast and Endocrine Surgeon who provides world-class surgical care to her patients on the Peninsula. Graduating from the University of Tasmania with First-Class Honours and two academic prizes in 2006, Edwina completed General Surgery training in Melbourne which enabled her to receive her fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2015. With her passion for breast and endocrine surgery, Edwina completed three years of post-fellowship training in these fields both locally and overseas.

To further her knowledge and skills in Endocrine Surgery, Edwina was employed by the prestigious Cleveland Clinic, Ohio in the USA between 2017-2019 where she received intense training in all aspects of Endocrine Surgery including point of care ultrasound and fine needle aspiration. Edwina has authored multiple peer-reviewed journal articles and two chapters in General and Endocrine Surgery. Her research has also won the top prize awarded by the Diabetes and Metabolism Institute at the Cleveland Clinic.

Edwina is an accomplished member of numerous international and endocrine societies including ANZES, AAES, IAES, and AsAES. Her meticulous work in both professional and personal life is evident in her biography. Edwina is also a proud wife to Vladimir Bolshinsky who is a colorectal surgeon at their practice, "Surgical Health Specialists".
