Dr Dharmesh Kothari

Dr. Dharmesh Kothari is a highly qualified gynaecologist and obstetrician with extensive experience in complex gynecological conditions, high-risk obstetrics, and emergency gynecology. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) in 2003 from Ahmedabad, India, and became a specialist in gynecology and obstetrics in 2006.

In 2009, Dr. Kothari migrated to Australia and trained at the Royal Hobart Hospital, where he focused on providing high-risk obstetrics care. He further enhanced his skills and expertise in advanced laparoscopic gynecology as a senior registrar at Calvary Hospital, Canberra. In 2016, he achieved his Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG).

Dr. Kothari has a passion for learning and research, which has led to numerous national and international publications and conference presentations. He has acquired level 6 experience and training in complex laparoscopic procedures, showcasing his dedication to staying at the forefront of medical advancements to deliver the best possible care to his patients.

He specialises in managing and treating complex gynecological conditions, including pelvic organ prolapse repairs, abdominal and vaginal hysterectomies, menopause, and advanced laparoscopic and robotic-assisted gynecology surgery for endometriosis treatment, removal of fibroids, ovarian cysts, and adnexal masses. He is also experienced in performing hysterectomies for endometriosis or large fibroids.
