Dr David Greening

Dr David Greening is a well-respected and experienced gynaecologist, specialising in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. He received his medical degree, MBChB, from the University of Otago, and later obtained subspecialty training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Monash Medical Centre in Australia. Dr Greening's passion for reproductive medicine led him to further his expertise in the field of reproductive endocrinology and infertility, where he gained invaluable experience working at renowned institutions such as Human Assisted Reproduction Ireland, Hammersmith IVF Unit, and GENEA (formerly Sydney IVF) Sydney.

In 2004, Dr Greening established his own practice in Wollongong, where he currently serves as the Clinical Director of The Fertility Centre at IVF Australia. He is dedicated to providing comprehensive and cutting-edge fertility services, advanced laparoscopic surgery, prolapse surgery, urinary incontinence support and management, as well as the management of menstrual disorders and menopause. Dr Greening also specialises in microsurgical vasectomy and tubal reversal surgery, obstetrics, and investigating miscarriage and recurrent IVF failure.

Alongside his clinical practice, Dr Greening holds the position of Honorary Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Wollongong Medical School. He actively engages in teaching, supervising, and examining students, and maintains a strong research interest with the university. Dr Greening's expertise and commitment to education benefit both his patients and the medical community, and he continues to foster positive relationships with students and research teams.

His obstetric patients consist of a diverse mix, including both spontaneous conceptions and those who have undergone fertility treatments.

Dr Greening's private practice is conveniently located on Crown Street in Wollongong, in close proximity to major hospitals. His team includes two midwives who work closely with him, along with a dedicated, experienced, and loyal support staff, ensuring that every patient receives the highest level of care and attention.
