Dr Francesca Rannard

Dr Rannard is an accomplished Specialist Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon who has trained both in Australia and internationally. She completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in the UK and was awarded the William Leech Scholarship for Research for her thesis on treatments for cerebral palsy in children. She also holds a Bachelor of Medical Science and became a member of the Royal College in Surgeons of England in 2006.

Furthermore, Dr Rannard has an extensive track record in paediatric plastic surgery, having spent 16 months as an international post-graduate fellow at the renowned Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in London. There she dedicated her efforts to specialize in cleft lip and palate surgery as well as treating children with vascular malformations, congenital melanocytic naevi, and ear reconstruction.

Moreover, Dr Rannard has been involved in charitable missions such as an outreach program in Bangladesh, performing surgeries on individuals with untreated burns and cleft lip and palate conditions.

Currently, Dr Rannard sees patients at Southside Plastic Surgery and Amelie Private. She is also a VMO at Wollongong Private Hospital and has an appointment at Wollongong Hospital. Her patients benefit from her vast knowledge, expertise, and compassionate care.
