Dr Christopher Wang

Dr. Christopher Wang completed his medical training in Australia, earning a Bachelor of Medical Science (B.Med.Sc) and a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Melbourne. He is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and completed his physicians training at the Western & Sunshine Hospitals in Melbourne. His cardiology training was undertaken at the Gold Coast University Hospital and The Prince Charles Hospital in Brisbane. Furthering his expertise, Dr. Wang completed a fellowship in advanced cardiac imaging at Liverpool Hospital in Sydney, focusing on echocardiography, cardiac CT, and cardiac MRI. He has a keen interest in preventative cardiology and multi-modality cardiac imaging, with particular attention to ischaemic heart disease, valvular heart disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias. Dr. Wang's qualifications include a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery and fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. His special interests and services encompass general and clinical cardiology, stress testing, and management of conditions such as shortness of breath, palpitations, acute coronary syndrome, heart failure, hypertension, and syncope.
